Collinsville Church of Christ

The Collinsville Church of Christ is a congregation that accepts the Bible as the inspired, authoritative Word of God. The New Testament is accepted as the principal authority for church and Christian action. The congregation recognizes no other source of doctrine other than the Word. We regard Jesus Christ as the founder, head, and Savior of the church. We have no central organization, as each congregation of the churches of Christ is independent of one another. Each congregation is self-governing under the oversight of their elders. Our Members believe and practice that one is added to the Lord’s church by faith, repentance, confession, and baptism. The Bible further teaches that one must continue to live a faithful Christian life to be saved.
